Painted Pumpkin... nice alliteration, ehh? We were just talking about those the other day in school... anyway- on to the craft!
I bought 3 pumpkins from the Dollar tree (woowoo!)

They needed to be painted....even the orange one. It was spotty, and very uneven. I just used regular craft paint..and applied it with a sponge brush. Like my

Cut out some Halloween shapes out of vinyl. Use the outside part as a stencil. Press firmly. I had trouble getting mine to stick well- guessing this is due to the roundness (is that a word?) of the pumpkin. Fill in the stencil with black craft paint. Remove the Stencil...

I added ribbon around my white pumpkin.... and a little dog hair too. oops. Fold the ribbon in half and stick a pin through the folded end.

K, back to the project- Stick the pin into the pumpkin (as close to the base of the stem as possible).
