Spiderweb cupcakes....
This was a bit time consuming....but aren't all cute things? I made the webs the night before I made the cupcakes. I used this template and directions to make the webs. The directions say to do it on a cookie sheet- but cookie sheet was a little to wide. Soooo, I used a plate instead. Much better:)I stored the webs in a Tupperware container in the refrigerator.
For the cupcakes.... I used this recipe and added 2 tsp of cinnamon. Delicious!
Ganache:
I used this recipe ... It was my first time making ganache..it was pretty easy.
Dip the cupcakes in upside down...
It's pretty messy- this is after the first dip. I dipped them twice.
Put the web on top when they're almost dry...SO CUTE!
those are so cute! You have some great ideas on your blog!!
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to let you know that I am working on and trying to get out there something called "The Handmade Pact" & "Handmade Tuesdays." On Tuesday I feature someone for a tutorial (let me know if you ever want to be featured :) and then am also starting to have a linky where others can link up tutorials they have done on their blogs (can be from whenever. Just cannot be repeated on more than one linky). :) I am also wanting to feature etsy shops as well because not everyone can make things :) Have a great week!
Those are precious. Looks like a lot of work, but like you said, aren't most things and they turned out so great.
